Our Middle School Program challenges students in grades fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth to explore their God given talents. During this time of expansive growth and change, our students are given opportunities to grow closer to God, extend their academic horizons, develop their leadership abilities, and take responsibility for their own lives.
Classes are departmentalized so that students can navigate individual subjects in a more profound way. Students receive instruction in religion, reading, English, math, social studies, and science. Once a week students attend computer science, physical education, library, and music.
Enrichment through advanced classes in math and English provides a smooth transition to future high school success. Our students excel at the high school of their choice.
Our competitive sports program offers a variety of opportunities for boys and girls to develop their innate athletic abilities. As a member of the Catholic School Athletic League (CSAL) and Metro Soccer League, our students compete in basketball, flag football, indoorball, volleyball, and soccer. Our school has one of the largest intramural soccer programs in the metropolitan area.
The Dance Team and Cheerleading Squads are known for their precision and elite performances. Our teams participate in various competitions and perform in parades and shows. Student Council organizes our school dances, door decorating contests, and more. Special activities like Rally Night are annual social events that build camaraderie. Our Builder's Club serves the elderly of our parish. Students may volunteer to be altar servers, choir members, or participate on the Quiz Bowl team.
Our middle school philosophy shapes a student's character as well as his/her mind. Students attend mass weekly, receive the sacraments, and pray daily. Religion is lived through our daily interaction with one another.
